The Surya Spiti Full Marathon offers a rare running experience in one of the most remote high-altitude regions in the world. Spanning 42.195 kilometres, the course challenges runners with low oxygen levels, demanding terrain, and constantly shifting mountain conditions.

It goes beyond physical endurance—this race calls for mental strength, preparation, and a deep respect for the environment. Months of focused training are key to handling the intensity of running above 3,000 meters.

Finishing here isn’t just about the distance—it’s about pushing past limits, immersing yourself in the raw Himalayan landscape, and walking away with an experience that stays with you long after the race.

Cut-Off Time

Given the distance and challenging terrain, participants are required to complete the race within a 7-hour time limit. All runners who cross the finish line will receive an official finisher’s certificate, with their completion time recorded.
