Running in Spiti’s cold, high-altitude environment requires smart layering and the right gear. Dressing correctly will help you stay warm, dry, and comfortable while maintaining performance throughout the race.
1. CANCELLATION OF REGISTRATION

A.  How to Request Cancellation

  • Cancellation of registration is permitted only up to June 30th 2026.
  • All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing from the participant's registered email address to suryaspitimarathon@gmail.com or fitizenindia@gmail.com
  • Verbal or telephonic requests will not be accepted. Only written email communication is valid.

B.  Cancellation After the Deadline

  • Important: No cancellation or refund request will be entertained after 30th June 2026, under anycircumstances.
2. REFUND POLICY

A.  Eligible Refunds

  • Registrations cancelled on or before 30th June 2026 are eligible for a partial refund (70% of registration fee; 30% is retained as a non-refundable processing fee).
  • Refunds will be processed after 30th June 2026 — not immediately upon submission of a cancellation request.

B.  Non-Refundable Situations

Registration fee is non-refundable in the following cases:

  • Participant does not show up on race day (no-show / DNS).
  • Participant fails to collect their race bib from the Expo or registration desk.
  • Participant is unable to travel due to personal reasons, including injury, illness, or travel-related disruptions.
  • Participant is medically withdrawn from the race on race day.
  • Participant is found boarding a support vehicle or ambulance, or taking supplemental oxygen during the race.
  • Participant is accompanied or supported by any unofficial or unauthorised person during the race.
3. NON-PARTICIPATION & DEFERRAL POLICY

  • Note: Registrations cannot be deferred to the next edition under any circumstances.
  • The registration fee is non-refundable and entry cannot be deferred if a confirmed participant is unable to participate for any personal reason. This includes, but is not limited to, injury, illness, travel disruption, or any other personal circumstances.
4. CHANGE OF RACE CATEGORY

  • Change of race category is permitted only up to 30th June 2026.
  • Requests must be submitted in writing from the participant's registered email address to suryaspitimarathon@gmail.com
  • In the case of a category upgrade, additional fees will be charged as applicable.
  • No category change requests will be entertained after the deadline.
  • Participants are advised to select the correct race category at the time of registration to avoid any inconvenience.
5. TRANSFER OF REGISTRATION

  • Transfer of registration to another participant or to a future edition is permitted only up to 30th June 2026
  • Written intimation must be sent from the participant's registered email address to suryaspitimarathon@gmail.com
  • No transfer requests will be entertained after the deadline. No exceptions will be made.
6. RACE DAY — DISQUALIFICATION & NO REFUND SCENARIOS

No refund will be issued if a participant is disqualified or stopped on race day due to any of the following:

  • Being found medically unfit during pre-race screening or bib collection.
  • Being withdrawn from the course by medical or safety personnel.
  • Being found in a support vehicle or ambulance during the race.
  • Receiving supplemental oxygen assistance during the race.
  • Being accompanied by an unauthorised pacer or support person.
  • Voluntarily withdrawing from the race (DNF — Did Not Finish).
  • Violating any race rules as defined in the Terms & Conditions.
